Sina News (who were the first to break the news about Kris’ lawsuit with SM) offered more insight into the case. They say that Kris had received numerous television and films offers but all had been rejected by SM. They also repeatedly stopped him from seeing a doctor. Kris had also tried to communicate SM many times that he wanted fairer treatment and for them to consider his personal vision as a artist, but SM once again rejected the complaints. They go on to say that despite all the work the members put in, their income was so limited that family members had to support them in everyday life. SM also kept an eye on all his schedules and Kris never left the group on his own for castings or events. Kris’ lawyer had tried negotiate with SM several times before the lawsuit to make accept TV/movie roles but they had all been rejected.
